Application Interface H/F

In charge of accompanying application projects, as interface between the platforms and the application teams for the development of embedded electronic systems in the automotive, from the RFI/RFQ (Request For Information/Quotation) to the serial product launch.
If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards
To manage and support the application teams at project level:
- Drive and collect all the financial and technical data to prepare answers to RFI/RFQ with the platform teams
- Set-up or attend regular meetings with business units to better understand the OEM’s needs.
- Manage EDS (External Development Supplier) and EMS (External Manufacturing Supplier), including RASIC definition
- Secure reuse plans for specification, hardware, software and tests
- Define and secure key milestones and synchronization between all parties (Autoliv platform, external or internal development team and OEM)
- Coordinate all necessary actions for the application product projects over the complete V-cycle
- Manage technical and project risks and report them on regular basis
- To manage and support the application teams at technical level:
- Represent Autoliv for all technical and development process aspects (1st level support)
- Enforce application of Autoliv development standards to internal and external development teams
- Review work products
- Participate to supplier audits (EDS and EMS)
To report project advancement and status
Organize regular follow-up meetings with all parties
Provide and present regular status report for the allocated projects, including all requested cost and quality indicators
Consolidate development and BOM costs
and if you have/are:
- Level (diploma) required: Electronics engineer
Experience: 5-7 years of work experience in managing development teams in the automobile industry, at technical or project level. Tier1 experience preferred.
Technical skills required:
Mastery of embedded system development for the automobile industry
Good knowledge of system engineering
Good knowledge of hardware electronics
Skills in relationship and management / leadership required:
Autonomous
Multidisciplinary
Ability and diplomacy to work in team, locally or off-shore
